That notice appears for apps from smaller publishers that Windows hasn't seen often yet. It is normal here. To continue:
- Open the file you downloaded.
- On the blue window, click More info.
- Click Run anyway, then follow the installer.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you install.
Do I need internet to use it?
No. Check-in, POS, reports and backups all work offline. Internet is only used to activate a lease (or never, if you activate offline with a machine code), and for a small daily check that a lease has not been revoked early.
What's the difference between Monthly, Annual and Lifetime?
All three unlock the exact same app -- there is no feature difference. Monthly and Annual renew on that schedule; Lifetime is a single payment that never expires. Pick whichever matches how long you plan to run the property.
Can I take advance bookings?
Yes. The booking calendar lets you reserve a room type for a date range with check-in and check-out times, shows every booking on a month calendar (each guest in their own color), and tells you how many dates are still free. It will not let you book a room type that is already full. A specific room is picked when the guest actually arrives, and you check them in from the booking.
Can I move a guest to a different room?
Yes, at any time during a stay. Moving to another room of the same type is free. Moving to a different type lets you charge the price difference for an upgrade; a downgrade simply changes the room, with no refund. If the stay is billed by open time, each room is charged at its own rate for the time spent in it.
How many computers can I use it on?
A lease works on one PC. Moving to a new computer? Contact us and we will transfer it for you.
How do I activate it?
Paste your lease key into the Activate screen -- it checks in online automatically. No internet on that PC? Choose offline activation, send us the machine code the app shows, and we will send back a signed activation code to paste in instead.
How do I buy?
Pay by scanning the QR in the "How to buy" section or by GCash to Jen Carlo Maglaque at 0975 813 1700 (or ask us about Maya or bank transfer), then text or email us the reference number and which plan you want. We send you a lease key as soon as we confirm your payment.
Where is my data stored?
On your own computer, in %APPDATA%\LodgeBoss, with daily backups in Documents\LodgeBoss Backups. We never see your guests, sales or records.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 7 days if it doesn't work for you. See the terms.
Is it safe?
There are no third-party ads, no tracking and no hidden accounts. You can verify your download with the checksum above. Read exactly what data is involved in our privacy notice.
What happens if my lease expires?
The app locks to an activation screen until you renew -- your data stays exactly as it was on your PC, and nothing is deleted. Renew any time to pick back up where you left off.
